DUSP2 Deletion Inhibits Macrophage Migration by Inhibiting ERK Activation in Zebrafish

Dual-specificity phosphatase 2 (DUSP2) regulates the activation of members mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family, which is involved in a variety cellular processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, and migration. DUSP2 also expression inflammatory mediators macrophages; however, it remains unknown whether participates macrophage Here, using tail fin injury model zebrafish larvae, we found that deletion inhibited pro-inflammatory cytokines chemokines. Moreover, live imaging results showed migration macrophages to site was after deletion. This inhibitory effect mediated through reduced extracellular regulated kinases (ERK) knockout zebrafish.
